Afternoon folks! Now that we are starting to get more members nearing level 25, we'll be posting up some guild events for the Abyss and Training Grounds. Please check the calendar frequently for updates. If you need to schedule time for help with completing quests to achieve level 25, please don't hesitate to create your own calendar event!

Also, please remember to register your characters on your account if you have not done so. This enables you to make use of the Wanted Gear and Guild Bank features.

Headstart finally begins tomorrow (9/20/09) at 12:00 PST! By now most of us are familiar with game launches. However, for the uninitiated, the following are some standard glitches that you'll find common for most launches:

1) There will probably be some delays. That doesn't mean the company is going under, or that their hardware is run by elderly gerbils.

2) The login server will probably crash at some point. (See above comment about gerbils.) If this happens, don't worry. They'll get it sorted out and you'll get in the game at some point.

3) Chances are, once they are up, the servers will hold stable, but you will probably experience lag.

4) The game will probably come down for a patch or two.

5) The main community forum will crash due to overload.

These are merely predictions based on my past experiences with game launches. Usually after the first few days things are running smoothly. Hopefully everything will go off tomorrow without a hitch, but in the event any of the above happen, don't panic. See y'all tomorrow!

Cimmerian Corps will be rolling on Triniel! Please bear in mind that by all indications Triniel is tilted in favor of the Asmodians, so be sure to get your character reservation early. If you encounter a message saying that you need to wait until the server balances before you create a character, don't panic! It will all get sorted out.

Pre-Select starts at 12:00 PST on the 18th.

Five more days till headstart begins! For those of you joining us, we are currently conducting a poll as to which server we will be rolling on. This poll closes on the 17th so you have a few days left to cast your vote. Don't forget that the Pre-order Pre-select date is on the 18th. You will be allowed to create (but not play) two characters on the server of your choice. As soon as the poll closes, we will announce the server so that you can get your Pre-Selection done. Have a happy downtime folks!

The website for Cimmerian Corps is now live!

Known as Axis in Warhammer and before that as The Watchmen in World of Warcraft, we felt a more fitting name for Aion would be appropriate, and thus Cimmerian Corps was born.
